Still Edible is a socio-environmental campaign that aims to resolve the problem of food waste in America. The country struggles to not stay cognizant of the amount of edible food that is wasted each year, but also to provide food to those that need it most. The campaign focuses on powerful, sometimes harrowing visuals to invoke a feeling and deliver the message of preserving edible foods.
The solution is a series of advertisements that rely solely on typography, to deliver the message of food waste, by using letterforms and shapes to create imagery of foods, in conjunction with words that are indicative of food waste. In addition, manipulation of word shape, direction, and form are used to further enhance the meaning.
